Beneficial Insects and Cockroach Painting

During this workshop, we will learn all about the good insects in your garden and how to encourage their presence. We know about how great ladybugs and praying mantids are, but did you know there are many more awesome critters out there that can help eat those pesky caterpillars and aphids? We will check out some pre-collected beneficial arthropods, and then take a little field trip to see what we can find around the garden. Finally, we will paint with giant Madagascar hissing cockroaches!
